OPTIMISTA began with a simple concept - a satirical newspaper in which we would talk about various news and themes in the world of Culture/Art, mainly in Portugal. Since our country doesn't take the sector of Culture and Arts that seriously we decided to reflect that in the Design of OPTIMISTA. With a playful color pallete, diverse typefaces, and a collection of illustrations - made by us - that reflected the themes of our articles, we created a newspaper that can be enjoyed by a large number of people.
