This dynamic identity for the city of seattle is a part of a school assignment at DMJX
The first thing that came to mind, when thinking about Seattle, was the city's iconic skyline and of course the Space Needle. That's why I called this project "Project Space Needle".
I started researching Seattle, and asked some people what associations they got when I mentioned Seattle.
My results gave an impression of an urban area, with a focus on big tech companies. A trendy city for the coffee-loving hipster, and a capital for the creative minded. A city with liberal political views and rainy weather.
This isn't the full picture though. The beautiful nature surrounding Seattle, is what gave the city it's nickname "The Emerald City". On a clear day, you can see the mountains from almost anywhere in the city.
