The KFC assignment

This project has nothing to do with the KFC brand, it was never commissioned by them.

This was an assignment for an application focusing on print ads and campaigns on a specified environmental problem.

For this specific campaign project I was focusing on unsustainable straws that were used by franchises and how they were affecting marine life in the long run.

Creative Direction
Depicted in these bold visuals are my thoughts on how, if I was to be of the KFC franchise, we could bring this issue to the attention of the public and other big brands.

I approached the project with with the idea of using bold, loud, and intriguing visuals using the KFC brand CI. With an approach of using various platforms such as Facebook and Instagram as they are mainly actively used by millions and millions of people, and would be done in hope to reach other people with the same purpose as the brand, and hopefully organizations willing to step up and get involved.

I further added another tactic of using billboards on roadsides, buildings and cars as they are actively around various communities and where people are active always and the colours are bold enough to attract the viewers and target audience.

Social Media
Usage of a social media campaign to reach more people of all ages.

Mobile ads
Vehicles and billboard ads on building and high commuting areas.


Use of vehicles to drive the message across towns, get attention of crowds in different demographies easier


Ads on bus stops because there's a high volume of ommuters on a daily basis


Billboard ads on sides of buildings


Newspaper advert
Occupy the whole back of a newspaper and when cut can be a poster
