With this project I was given a brief to chose two books from the wide range of penguin classics, and I would have to redesign them within the style of a historical art movement. I started of researching and looking at all the art movements from earlier Arts & Crafts through to the latest Postmodern. Alongside this I started to looking into the list of Penguin Classics to see which ones appealed to me. I finally chose two and decided to read the beginning chapter from each so that I could get an idea of what these books were about and so that I could portray them well on the from cover but also design the front cover with using inspirations for the suitable art movement.
