This fictional spread is created through a school assignment project. The task was to design a magazine spread for a specific famous graphic designer and capture the spirit of the individual as much as possible. I was handed out "Michael Bierut". Through researching Michael Bierut’s design catalogue my design came up very simple yet bold in its figurative expression. Communicating his love for shape design that is hard to forget. This inspiration comes from the interesting looks that fonts and type have, correlating into shape.
