A variety of disabilities can result in the loss of motor function in the hands. This makes it difficult for people to complete everyday tasks like eating or brushing their teeth. Wibbl is a line of common household products designed for people with hand limitations and impairments. It includes two toothbrush options, cutlery, and a drawer organizer.
The Wibbl grips are made of a flexible memory foam that conforms to each user’s hand. This creates as a bespoke solution to accommodate a variety of hand shapes and positions. The handles are grooved and have a generous diameter to make them comfortable and easy to grab. The manual toothbrush 'wibble wobbles' to ensure it always lands upright in case the user drops it ensuring the brush stays clean and in an ergonomic grab position. Brush heads are ejected by pressing the large button on the bottom of the handle. The drawer organizer holds the utensils at an angled, elevated position. Users can wrap their hands around the entire handle unlike with traditional nested utensils.
