In my spare time...

I finally fulfilled a dream of mine to create my very own Etsy shop selling handmade jewellery. And so... 'Byzantium Blue' was born!

Creating the logo was extremely satisfying, I came up with the design myself and then worked with a local graphic designer to make it look professional and I absolutely love it!!

My jewellery is made with shrink plastic, hand drawn and coated in a shiny layer of resin.

Firstly, I create my design and colour it in with colouring pencils before they are heated up and shrink to size.

I also design cards for different times of the year, this is one of my Christmas cards!

I wanted to have the colour blue be a distinctive, recurring and recognisable theme, particularly in my packaging. I absolutely love the look of one of my Byzantium Blue stickers on a packaged pair of earrings, nearly ready to be dispatched.

During the pandemic, I made lots of face masks and sold them on my Etsy shop. Here is one packaged and nearly ready to go!

Designing stickers for the first time, I created these as a gift for a friend who loved them.

I always handmake a card for anyone's birthday, I love including my calligraphy and bright colours.

A birthday card for someone who's birthday is in October and loves Halloween.

I work in a Sicilian café and during my time there so far, have designed some signs for them to display cakes and pastries.

I'm always thrilled to have any of my work on display, even if it is only something small.

Designing a handmade denim jacket with Harry Potter fabric and beautiful tartan ribbon. 

I painted this as soon as I finished watching 'Joker' for the first time!

I have notebooks and notebooks of calligraphy as I find it extremely relaxing and one of the loveliest forms of typography.
