The “Woof Woof Meow” project gave students the opportunity to design a vet clinic utilizing our knowledge of codes, materials and textiles, lighting design, and furniture

design. This multi-class project presented us with the opportunity to think outside the box and develop solutions to real-life problems. I found this project both compelling and

challenging. I developed a design that is comfortable and functional for pets, owners, and the clinic staff. Visits to a veterinarian clinic can be stressful for pets and pet owners. To ease nerves, the building is designed from floor to ceiling to be a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests. The clinic staff can rest in confidence knowing the building design is sure to keep pets and people calm and at peace.
