This "Organic Cast Series," (2019) consists of different organic materials directly cast in their assigned metals using a technique called "direct casting." The series studies cabbage (in aluminum), peppers (copper), the lily (brass), and Moon cacti (cast iron).

The Moon Cactuses were strengthened with wax before being cast in a community Iron pour. Some were also given a base in wax before casting.
