Si FACE is a last mile delivery robot where I tried to create a better way to communicate with humans.

The shape of the robot is completely symmetrical, which makes it easier to communicate with the robot in any direction. Also, there is no front and back, which means the robot does not have to turn to change direction.

The communication screen extends over all four sides of the robot, even over the edge of the robot and the top bevel of the robot. When the robot is near the customer, it detects the customer's position and changes the communication side of the robot to the appropriate screen.

I avoided using the eyes and mouse to show the robot's emotions, and I avoided humanizing the robot's interface because it is a machine and must be neutral because of many human fears about robot like robot presence that makes some people uncomfortable.

This project was my Semester project under the advisement of Prof.Harald Steber.
