Bulgarian Landscapes

In 2021 I visited Bulgaria - a country where I hope I will be able to study in the future - and lived here for a couple of month. This was my first trip to another country and I was so excited about it! And when I returned home I made a little series of Bulgarian landscapes. All 3 of them are created on A3 format with gouache.
This painting is inspired by the streets of Bansko city, where I lived, and goats, which I saw on Tsarevets fortress in Veliko Tarnovo near to the church.
This painting represents the Trinity Church in Bansko. Storks live on its roof, which the servants of the church feed.
This is the Pirin mountain, at the foot of which this city is located. It is the biggest mountain range of the Western Bulgaria.
