Keith Haring practically reinvented the stick figure; he was capable of painting life onto the canvas with line and spa. Short, blunt expressions of humanity, in the form of the faceless, uniting everyone from all walks to experience the self through the selfless. It is the purpose of the stick figure to create a stand-in. Keith Haring expands on it in everything he does, and it inspires my design as I seek to capture anyone, the same way Keith always did.
The assignment was to make a lecture poster for a designer. And as someone whose gotten at least one Keith Haring stocking stuffer every Christmas since I started designing, I wanted to pay homage to one of the latest and greatest in playful, honest, human design.
