Although the gym is where people go to train and practice weight training, there are multiple exercises that people can practice at home to improve their health and strength. To start training at home, a person needs to acquire resistance bands, dumbbells, kettlebells, and stability or medicine balls. Then, a person has to warm up 10 to 15 minutes before practice to prevent any injuries during weight training.

One exercise that can be practiced at home is squat to overhead rise. First, a person needs to stand with their feet wide and arms around the body. Secondly, a person has to lower the hips, move into a squat position, take the dumbbells from the ground, and raise them over their head. After that, they can return to the starting position. Depending on how much a person wants to work out, they can do one to three sets and 10 repetitions.
