Inspired from the “Mood ring” a popular fad of the mid 1970’. This Streetwear collection for Spring / Summer 2012 is an amalgamation of different moods represented by the varying colors of the stone. Mood ring - A ring , which contains thermo chromic element, such as liquid crystal and changes color in response to the body temperature of its wearer, indicating the emotional state.
Using a multicolor pigment printed Single Jersey fabric as the base for the collection; every silhouette is coupled with a color representing a particular mood. Elements such as the Peplum, fabric twists and Turkish pants are interpreted in the silhouette for jealously, High slits and partially hidden piping for imaginative, Jodhpur pants coupled with an asymmetric top to interpret love.
The collection is accessorized with a touch of Indian elements viz. fabric jewelry, Kolhapuri Juttis, wooden bangles and messy braids hairstyle complements the global street look.
