WHOEVER, BATH

We use many products in our daily lives. From the perspective of use discussed in crafts,
the power of products often has a good and bad effect on human culture. Some of them
define the suitability of use and distinguish between disability and non-disability. From this
point of view, designers are obligated to guide the product's power to be exercised in the
right direction. This is the goal of this project.

RESEARCH

The officially registered disabled population is about 2.63 million, accounting for
5.1% of the total population in Korea.  In addition, one in ten people with disabilities
became acquired disabled due to illness or accidents.  This suggests that the number
of people with disabilities is increasing,  and that anyone who is currently non-
-disabled can become disabled.
PROBLEM

There are numerous products exclusively for the disabled in our daily lives.
However, most of them had various complaints about products and facilities exclusively
for the disabled. In particular, problems emerged in the use of facilities in public places.
However, it was difficult to improve facilities due to superficial problems such as
lack of space, which caused economic problems. In addition, economic problems have
consequently caused social controversy over budget expansion, and due to this vicious
cycle,  the problem of facilities for the disabled has long been left unresolved.
PROJECT GOAL

The power of a product eliminates user discrimination. The great power can create a new culture.
This project starts with a product design that everyone can use conveniently. This product, which ends discrimination in usability, has a good influence on other products. These products gather to create new customs, which develop into the culture.  As a result, this project aims to change the culture of use by using the power of the product.
SOLUTION

Various solutions have been devised to change the bath culture closest to our daily lives.
In height adjustment, load-related issues are solved by conceiving a bowl rotating along the inclined axis,
and the shape of the bowl and the inclination of the rotation axis is adjusted so that the maximum height and
minimum height meet each standard. The mirror also adjusts the angle and illuminates the top and bottom,
and all of these functions are built-in height detection sensors so that they can be performed
without any additional manipulation.
DESCRIPTION

This product integrates non-disabled toilets and disabled toilets. This product for everyone is
part of a project to establish a new use culture and is designed to solve social problems caused
by various conflicts over improving facilities for the disabled.

This product automatically adjusts the height by detecting the user's height, which meets both
the official standard height of the general toilet and the disabled toilet. The mirror also illuminates
the top and bottom by adjusting the angle, and the legless design and the frame bar design
surrounding the product provide convenience and safety to wheelchair users.
