Mungbone was founded in April 2022.
The title ‘SPEECHLESS’ comes from the overwhelming emotions Lisa experienced after the loss of her sister and a dear family friend in 2020. Lisa’s work as a custom painter took on a deeper meaning when she found healing in the creation of beauty on ordinary objects. This healing came through art without words and is symbolized by the lack of facial expressions on the art toys. The customs show her signature style of organic patterns and a loving attention to detail. Her digital artwork also highlights Lisa’s imaginary world of peace and harmony. Her work sits in a sweet spot between figurative and abstract art, blending character with fluid, flowery patterns.
