Type Specimen Book
For this project, I was challenged with picking a font from a list and making a specimen book displaying the aesthetics of the typeface. For my font, I chose "Chapman" which is
a very fancy and delicate serif typeface. It took me a while to figure out what look I was going for because Chapman was a font with very few references to go off of for ideas.
So, looking at the typeface I eventually thought of old silent movie title cards from the 1920s, and I hand-made all of the details surrounding the pages with Glyphs from
the typeface.
