Break the Stigma - Mental Health Poster Campaign
Stonehill College's Counseling Services Offices were noticing there was a lower number of students taking advantage of the mental health services offered by the college. In partnering with the JED Foundation, an association dedicated to aiding teens and young adults dealing with mental health issues, Stonehill Counseling Services joined the "Break the Stigma" campaign, where people attempt to break the stigma surrounding talking about mental health and mental illness.
Myself and another student designer were approached by Stonehill's Health and Wellness department to create a poster campaign dedicated to the campaign. They wanted us to increase knowledge of mental health services on campus, promote seeking mental health services, while giving the department a fun and creative twist. From this, we were able to create four posters that all fit within the original guidelines for the project.
