This piece shows a once great city completely abandoned and forgotten. It is now inhabited by both nature and little orange men native to the "KorDyn" islands known as "Kavics" who wander the remains left of the area.
For this piece, I was heavily inspired off of Dr. Seuss's famous midnight paintings and drawings. I decided to pick a color scheme of mainly grainy browns and yellows to give the city a more aged look. I chose to use colored pencils because they blend together well and show a nice texture.
