This project incorporates 3D modeling and animation to create a compelling short motion graphic advertisement designed to target platforms like Tiktok.

This project aims to expand the marketing of Bath & Body Works’ hand soaps to encompass some of the recent platforms within social media. The scope of the project will to create a 5 – 10 second 3D motion graphic advertisement promoting Bath & Body Works’ hand soaps to Tiktok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. The project is designed to target the younger demographic of Bath & Body Works’ customers who use these platforms.

While the peach and peach slice were textured and colored in Blender 3.0 using the Vertex Paint, the hand soap itself had to be UV unwrap and textured in photoshop. By using Photoshop, I was able to create a custom label that mimics many real Bath & Body Works product design.  

Before animating each scene, I like to create a complete file containing all of the 3D assets before dividing the scenes into individual compositions.

Originally, I designed my project to contain four scenes in total. But due to some medical issues with my health during the development of this project, I was hospitalized for several weeks which drastically altered the timeline and schedule of my project. In order to finish on time for the deadline, I decided to remove two of my scenes from my design plate and focus on finishing the first two scenes for the project. In addition, I also cut out some of the 3D particle animation that I was planning to include to streamline the design process.

Despite removing several components from my project, I was still able to design from scratch the Tiktok UI that I've included in my final video output. 

Overall, this project was a blast to design and I can't wait to create more of these videos in the future.
