While the City of Joy (Kolkata), India is known as the cultural capital of the country, it is also popular for some architectural wonders that leave everyone awestruck. Over the Hooghly River there are two iconic  bridges: Howrah Bridge and Vidyasagar Setu.

     Vidyasagar Setu also known as the Second Hooghly Bridge is a toll bridge over the Hooghly River in West Bengal,Kolkata.  With a total length of 823 metres (2,700 ft), Vidyasagar Setu is the longest cable–stayed bridge in India. Vidyasagar Setu has 121 cables in a fan arrangement.

Different size, colors, types of nouka boats you can see close under the bridge. Most of their owners actually live at these boats.
