I created a loose sketch to convey the energy and general positioning of the figures.

With the go-ahead, I moved on to a more refined rough sketch
that more accurately depicted the figures.

Using Line Art, I sharpened up the imagery and pinned down the shapes.

I then colored in the figures and implied a simple yet colorful background
to enhance the playful bright nature of the scene.
