Rolio Router（2022）
Concept design
Rolling-on Router aims to create more interactions between users and the router, and then users can understand how the internet is going right now and turn it off or on by touching the switch.
PROBLEM:
Nowadays, the router is necessary for people, but most of us do not turn it off for a long time, which accelerates router ageing, and reduces Internet speed due to cached data. Meanwhile, most routers lack cues that users can easily understand, which might annoy users and causes bad user experience.
CONCEPT
In this project, I tried to design a router that the router can easily turn off by touching the switch before users go out or don't use it and reflects Internet speed by colours and light. Then users can understand when they should switch the router off to delete cached data.
