Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV (2022)
As one of my first major production projects as an Exterior Designer, I was involved in the early advanced design phase of the Mercedes-Benz Electric Vehicle Architecture (EVA).
This led to participating in the X296-project, the largest car on our first fully electric platform, in 2017.
In the internal competition for the exterior design of the vehicle, I was the responsible designer of the winning full-scale proposal which was then transferred into mass production. The finished car was officially unveiled in April 2022.
Official press sketches below - I hope some more work from the process will be released in the near future to provide some more insights.
Don't forget: Car design is always team work - it was fun to be a small part of this giant project.
