Why?
Hi! This exercise was focused on making different variations of weapons with a theme and handing one of them over to your classmates. They had to make the weapon in 3D Blender.
But first, my weapon designs
I first made a moodboard and a wordweb for my theme romantic and a moodboard for some weapon ideas. After that I made some random weapon silhouettes and picked the ones out I thought was the most fun to make. I liked this assignment a lot because I think it's good to train your creativity muscles!
Here are my final results
The axe is suppose to be a bit like a rose. I kinda had a hard time with making the weapons detailed enough, so I think I need to pratice more with drawing weapons.

This is my 3D Blender render for the shield. I didn't have a hard time making the shield because it was a kind of easy design.

I think she really nailed the colors! She told me that it was her first time texture painting in Blender and I think that she did great.
Reflection
Honestly, I really enjoyed this assignment! I really liked the idea to make assets with a theme and to make the 3D model. I think this will be something that I would like to do in the future as well.
