Kindness and Mischief Coffee Packaging
Los Angeles residents flock from all over the city to Highland Park’s neighborhood oasis, Kindness and Mischief Coffee. K&M Coffee not only serves delectable delights like the scrumptious Cheezus Crust grilled cheese or the spicy “Mischief” latte, but also serves as a hub that inspires friendliness, creativity, and community. Being a minority, woman-owned small business, K&M Coffee is at the forefront of progressive-minded, forward-thinking shops in Northeast Los Angeles.
When the shop’s owner, Mo, requested that we design their new coffee bag (fun fact: she handles the sourcing and roasting of the beans, too!), we knew that the artwork would express the single most important aspect of the shop: the community. With that in mind, we literally illustrated the shop’s diverse and lovely crew, neighbors, supporters, friends, and regulars - all those who’ve made an impact on the shop’s endearing and ongoing legacy.
