Ice Caves of Lake Superior, 2014
During the winter season, the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore offers a popular attraction in the dazzling shoreline ice caves at Mawikwe Bay along the mainland. The caves have been unaccessible for the past five seasons, due to thin ice. I visited in early February and made several shots to document some of what I saw.
