Front side of business card.
I designed the front using my initials as the focal point. Upon overlapping the characters, I realized they created a triangular shape in the middle. I chose a third color to highlight the triangular shape and also my title. The large initials are at 53% opacity. My name and body text are the same color at 100% opacity. I used sans serif Avenir Next LT Pro for the typeface, heavy style, for the initials. My name, title, and body type is in Baskerville MT Pro (name in semi-bold, title in italic, and the rest is regular style).
Back side of business card.
For the back side of my business card, I enlarged the initials, still using sans serif Avenir Next LT Pro, heavy style, 53% opacity. I also added a tagline about the genealogical region I serve, which is in Baskerville MT Pro, regular style, in 100% opacity of the purple of the K. I highlighted the triangle formed by the overlap of the K and F in pink and also highlighted the word "connections" in the tag line in pink.
