Metropolis Poster Contest - July 2017
In the first year of my studies Illustration at the Willem de Kooning I won the contest to design a poster for one of the bands participating in the annual Metropolis festival in Rotterdam.
I got to personally hand the poster to the band's lead singer and my design was displayed at the festival. The distortion of the First Lady-like figure, blinded by an American flag represent the criticism on the political system of the USA conveyed by the band's lyrics.
