Mythical Creature

The first photo below is the original sketch of the concept for my mythical creature. The Furry Panflyling (sketch 1)
To complete my finished creature, I used the following photos, which were all found on Unsplash:

Landscape: Photo by Angela Loria on Unsplash. To use this photo I cloned out the fences, and when I added it to my original background I brought the top above my workspace and brought the foreground down to show more of the foreground.

Panda:  Photo by billow926 on Unsplash. When using this photo I removed everything around the panda. I also removed part of the head and created another jpeg of only that to use for the head of the Furry Panflyling. /for both the head and body I rescaled and rotated the photo for the proper perspective.

Wings:  Photo by Sian Cooper on Unsplash. By taking out the entire background, and part of the body I was able to use this photo. I rotated, scaled, and used the same photo for both wings.

Lion's Mane: Photo by Prem Gangar on Unsplash. On this photo I took off the entire surrounding area and part of the mane. I had to rescale and rotate this when placing on the panda body.

Cauliflower: Photo by Scurtu Corina on Unsplash. After taking out everything around the head of cauliflower, I adjusted the contrast to make it blend in with the background, then scaled it down to much smaller than the original.

Watermelon: Photo by Elena Koycheva on Unsplash. I took out everything around the watermelon, and rescaled it much smaller. I also adjusted the contrast before adding it to my landscape.

When I created the Furry Panflying, I blended the outer edges of the creature slightly so it would look fluffier and blend more seamlessly with the landscape. As I added the mane and head I blurred and smudged them to blend into each other.
