Experimental Portrait
The objective of the project was to create a portrait and experiment with different things while designing it. My subject for this project was my dog, Jack. I started by sketching a couple different ideas along with finding inspirational pieces that I wanted to go for. In the end, I decided to do a collaboration of a bunch of vector shapes and colors to match my image. I made the background purple cause it made the other colors pop out more. Another reason I chose purple was because purple can be used to signify bravery, and with my dog being a small dog in a big world, he is surrounded by way bigger dogs yet still lives on his legacy. I used some of his favorite treats to go around him such as bacon, kibble, and bones. I made sure to include his collar since he is always wearing it and included his name so everyone would know who he is. I made  small dog prints in the background since it needed a slight amount of uniqueness so it wasn't just a square of purple.
