Teacher's Pet, a planner for teachers (Thesis Project)

ABSTRACT
Charis School is a non-sectarian Christian School that offers K-12 education. When the pandemic hit, they were forced to switch to online teaching for the safety of their students as well as their own. This brought a new wave of problems that affected their teaching experience, specifically the negative impact of the situation on their mental health. The design solution I came up with was a planner uniquely made for Charis School teachers that not only helps streamline productivity, organization, and workflow, but also encourages the boost of their morale, and the improvement of their mental health. Out of the 21 full time teachers, only 3 were able to test out the planner. The results were mostly successful, with teachers claiming that their morale was mostly boosted, and their mental health was impacted in a positive way due to the productivity pages as well as the activity sheets meant for maintaining their mental health, encouraging a sense of self, inspiring self-reflection, and empowering them.
This is the pattern I came up with for the sides of the pages where they get hole-punched, and the section dividers.
Cover designs, section dividers, and intro page.
Personal information, dates to remember, and goals-setting pages.
Monthly, weekly, and daily.
Communication logs, student checklist, and notes.
Activity sheets for learning from one's mistakes, reframing one's point of view, getting rid of insecurities, and tracking of habits.
Journal pages, daily devotional pages, and "I'm grateful for..." pages.
