Plausible Biblical Faces (MetaHumans)

Plausible Biblical Faces
Created With The Application MetaHuman
These plausible faces representing biblical figures were entirely created in the application MetaHuman by Epic Games (Photoshop was not involved). They were mostly created using the formula of appearance in a specific geographical location vs the estimated time... And obviously, a touch of imagination was involved as well... However, in some cases, more precise clues were also added to the mix, such as : The available hints about the physical appearance of some figures (i.e: King David or Saul (Paul) of Tarsus ) or Forensic facial reconstructions of skulls (not belonging to these figures) found in the same area from the same time... And finally, why not imagining how these figures would look like today...

MetaHuman is a powerful application that lets users customize, in real time, hyper realistic human faces for the Unreal Engine. Unless a 3D Scan / Mesh is imported, the modeling and sculpting tools available in the application are limited to specific anatomical ranges and thus can't reproduce the subtle distortions and attributes we find in real facial features... Also, the available types of hair, moustaches, beards and clothes featured in the App are still limited for now...

The faces rendered in this project might be updated as the application expands with more features and library elements.
