Garden Furniture Design
A form design project where the brief was to design a product inspired by nature.
After some basic research I decided to take my design inspirations from Grasshoppers, the most commonly found insects in a garden, for my product - a Garden Chair.
Nature inspired form for a garden chair taken from Grasshoppers, as it is a creature which adds beauty and life to this environment.
- Form inspired from one of many body postures of grashoppers
- Colour inspiration taken from the two most commonly found colours of grashopppers - Green and Brown
- Materials used - Wood or aluminium for the frame
- Ropes, jute or thick fabric for the seat
