The result of a photographic outing in the old town centre of my city, L’Aquila, 9 years after the earthquake that struck it in 2009.
During the outing I wanted to look at the world from another perspective, the reflection of the lenses of my sunglasses: the result is “upside-down” photos, like the reality that has been going on in the city for 13 years, alternating the black and white of the situation with the yellow of the hopefully imminent rebirth.
The ‘journey’ begins with photos of the ‘facade’, in which the city appears unscathed, and then continues deep into its cracks.

Il risultato di un’uscita fotografica svolta nel centro storico della mia città, L’Aquila, a 9 anni dal sisma che l’ha colpita nel 2009.
Durante l’uscita ho voluto guardare il mondo da un’altra prospettiva, il riflesso delle lenti dei miei occhiali da sole: il risultato sono delle foto “al contrario”, come la realtà che da 12 anni si vive in città, che alternano il bianco e nero della situazione al giallo della rinascita, speriamo, imminente.
Il “percorso” inizia con delle foto “di facciata”, in cui la città appare illesa, per poi proseguire fin nel profondo delle sue crepe.
