Infographic Design
Design Challenge
The project required a design of an engaging infographic for Jockey, where the information on the infographic would be easy to understand through visual story telling. I needed to explain the differences between the following types of underwear: thong, bikini, boyleg and hipster.
Skills
I applied my knowledge and understanding of the components and concepts of visual design, hierarchy, and visual storytelling to design this infographic. I also used my skills in the Adobe Software programs, mainly Adobe Illustrator. My creative skills and passion about minimalism led to the end result above.
Concept / Strategy
The implemented strategy for this design started off with the necessary research about underwear and the different styles. Through finding the answers, I kept in mind the original brand and incorporated it with my own style and brand identity. I took my skills to the Adobe Software programs and then designed and created the final execution.
Design Decisions
I believe my design decisions in the final prototype of this design perfectly reflects my creative strengths as a designer as well as links to my personal brand identity through the use of simplistic shapes as well as the minimalistic colours such as grey, black, white and beige.
