想像在生物及醫療科技快速演進的未來，過往被視為只在學術、醫療機構發生的前端生物科技已頻繁涉入人類的日常情境中，促使人類對身體甚至是生命的掌控更握有主導權。在未來，「生命延續」或「身體改造」已構成一種新常態（New Normal），「器官」被重新定義 – 它不再極具稀缺性，而是可以被大量製造甚至量身訂做，成為具多樣化選擇的一種商品，消費者可依據自身興趣、喜好、職涯規劃做最適選擇；器官換置也不再侷限於傳統定義上的「醫療行為」，而是作為人類自我實現 (Self-actualization) 的常態手段之一，藉此主宰自己的身體功能及樣態。

對器官製造普及化的假設下，展覽以「器官訂製所 Organ Manufacturing Lab」為題，將普及於未來的器官訂製所藉由物件、裝置、影像建構出情境空間與氛圍，引導觀者進入另一時空背景的想像中，並將「器官消費是極為普及的日常時...」的思維導入，打破觀者身處於現代社會中既有的認知，挑起矛盾與衝突之情緒感受，進而向自身提問：當處於此新興文化與信念的世界，夢想、前所未有的可能性得以實現時，「對於這樣的未來，是接受還是不接受」？以及，當人類擁有超越自然限制的自主、選擇權力，帶來的是社會效益及福祉的前進，抑或是使人類對生命的珍視感下降而傾向更加糜爛的社會氛圍？

From the perspective of Speculative Design, this exhibition attempts to extend the imagination in the future of the rapid evolution of biological and medical technology. In the past, biotechnology, which was regarded as only occurring in academic and medical institutions, has been frequently involved in the daily life of human beings. Promote human control of the body and even life to have more dominance. In the future, "life extension" or "body modification" has constituted a new normal, and "organ" is redefined - it is no longer extremely scarce, but can be mass-produced or even tailored to become a commodity with a variety of choices, consumers can make the most suitable choice according to their own interests, preferences and career planning; Organ replacement is no longer limited to "medical behavior" in the traditional definition, but as one of the normal means of human self-realization, thereby controlling one's own body function and appearance.

Under the assumption of the popularization of organ manufacturing, the exhibition is titled "Organ Manufacturing Lab", which will be popularized in the future uses objects, installations, and images to construct a situational space and atmosphere, and guide the audience to enter. In the imagination of another time and space background, the thinking of "Organ consumption is an extremely popular daily time..." is introduced, breaking the existing cognition of the viewer in modern society, provoking the emotional feeling of contradiction and conflict, and then Ask yourself: "To accept or not to accept such a future" when dreams and unprecedented possibilities are realized in this world of emerging cultures and beliefs? And, when human beings have the power of autonomy and choice beyond the limits of nature, will it bring social benefits and well-being forward, or will human beings have a lower sense of cherishing life and a more erosive social atmosphere?
