I imagined Tessa's perspective while writing the song to a former partner whom she really cared for but quite wasn't what she wanted in a relationship.
The song has beautiful yet nostalgic lyrics that contrast with a calm and beautiful melody, reminding me almost of a disney-movie-like scene, with bluebirds singing around.
The main text has this molten chrome effect to represent the feeling of something valuable or important just going away. It all goes floating in the sky cause that's what love usually makes you feel, like floating.
