During my time at university, I developed a strong interest in photography.
The following images show photos I took for a brief entitled 'Real Cornwall'.
This was a one week portraiture project to capture the essence of Cornwall in a single photograph. Cornwall is most famous for its beaches and tourist attractions, but none of this would be possible without the hard work of the people behind the scenes who provide the services for the public to enjoy.
So I focused on these workers, and the hard work they do every day, to capture the real essence of Cornwall.
For another university project, we had to take photographs using the theme 'Man vs Sea'. I wanted to show the power of the sea compared to man. I thought the best way to show this was through the sea's effect on man's tools. So I took photos of weathered ropes, showing man and sea fighting against each other.
