CF House of Athletes Web Experience
Role
I had the opportunity to work as the lead UX designer on this project.
Local gym webpage
Problem
Inability of users to schedule workouts based on their busy schedule

Research Goals
Create a website where users can easily select and schedule workouts according to their availability and preference.
Create a site where people are able to track their progress as well as get tips to remain healthy.

User Research
Interviews were conducted and the primary user group identified through research were busy gym members who wanted to schedule their workout time based on their availability. I initially assumed that gym members only wanted to schedule workout based on availability and workout on their own but later found out that they also wanted to partake in the coach instructed class and also select less packed classes.

Pain Points
Other platforms didn’t afford them the opportunity to select time for their workout.
Majority of platforms didn’t afford them the chance of a coach assisted workout without having to pay extra.
Wireframes and Low fidelity Prototypes
Findings
I discovered that not only did users want to select and schedule their workout conveniently, they also wanted to workout out in a coach assisted class that isn’t overly populated.
Mockups and High fidelity Prototypes
Accessibility
Made use of images to help users know and understand what they want to select.
Made use of colors to make it look physically appealing.

Takeaways
Impact
The website made was able to make users struggling with workout routines because of their busy schedule  select and schedule workout classes without any hassle and also workout while being monitored by a coach.
