Post-traumatic stress disorder is a mental health condition that's triggered by the traumatic experience
WHAT PEOPLE WITH PTSD EXPERIENCE:
depression, anxiety and anxiety attacks, problems communicating with others

WHAT ARE TRAUMAS:
verbal abuse, physical violence, catastrophes, accidents, wars

there are a lot of things that may lead to trauma: death of a loved one, hard physical illness, sexual abuse, divorce...

A TRAUMA MAY LEAD TO PTSD IF IT WAS:
very strong, or/and very sudden, or/and very long

events of a smaller intensity might cause trauma if they lasted for a very long time. for example, long-lasting bad relationships where a victim was often manipulated and devalued. it might be love or parent-child relationships
SYMPTOMS:
expectation of danger, nightmares, flashbacks, avoidance of memories, places and persons, connected to traumatic experience (at any price)

IN CONCLUSION:
- PTSD can be diagnosed by a professional psychiatrist only
- not everyone who went through trauma has PTSD in future
- everything has an impact: bio-socio-psychology
- children who experienced verbal and/or physical violence from their parents, or were bullied at school for years, have a high risk of depression and ADHD in adulthood
- no to war
