This is the first model I ever successfully made for a class at SNHU. Its biggest strength is its scaling. It is a perfect representation of what an actual GameCube looks like and it has the exact proportions of a real one. I know this because I measured my real GameCube with a ruler before I made the first box that my GameCube was modeled from. Its weakness is that it was too hard to texture. This was before I figured out how to unwrap UWV maps the right way, so I used Mudbox to build things up on the model. Things like the outline of the lid and the buttons. Now that I know how to unwrap UVW maps better, I should be unable to unwrap this one, import it into Photoshop, and texture it that way. Here are the original gray shaded, textured, and wire frame full turnaround shots of my GameCube.
