This project was two parts: creating a montage, and creating a collage. They are similar but have a few distinctions. A collage is made up of several elements composited together. A photo montage is using several photos of the same scene, taken from different angles, to construct a pasted together version of the scene.

This was one that I had a lot of fun with. I took two pictures - one from Main Street in Louisville, Kentucky, and the other from the Beer Garden at the Alcove in Jeffersonville, Indiana. I incorporated some of my own vector drawings into this one to give it a groovy 70s vibe. Here's a gif of my process for this one:

This photos from this montage were taken outside of 21c Museum Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky. They have this stunning, larger-than-life display of Michaelangelo's David in gold. Pictures do not justify how massive he is in person - it's almost daunting. Here's the gif of constructing this:
