If you've visited my page within the last 6 months, you've probably seen this guy under the title "Untitled Ice Man character design concept"
Well I'm glad to report he has a name - Heath - and that I finally have a better grasp of how to use Behance a little better.
Let's start with some background-
Heath was actually inspired by some pretty gruesome things - I randomly saw a video of a man tapping his frostbitten fingers against a mirror and couldn't help but notice just how deep the shade of blue was on them. I then thought that this could be put to good use for darker skinned snow or ice related characters since most tend to be lighter skinned.
And so "Heath the Ice Man" was born.
He doesn't yet have any solid lore. The only plans I have for him at the moment is a story from a journalistic point of view chronicling his life as an immortal New York cryptid.

Going deeper into what inspired his design, aside from having some deeply frostbitten skin, I made his hair resemble snowballs and added jewelry on parts of the body that are most frequently affected by frostbite.
His clothing was harder to pin down without solid lore but the design I chose was generally inspired by light winter wear as more heavy pieces wouldn't make sense for a creature unaffected by snow. It also gave him a more urban look.

I plan on posting his living space or "lair" soon and maybe even the comic or illustrations for a possible story.
