The Numbers Challenge was a photography project with the aim to capture the numbers 1 thru 100 in order of appearance, with a maximum diversity in colors, materials, fonts and modes of use. That was not as easy as it may seem; it took two and a half years and many hikes, most of them in the vicinity of Rotterdam, to produce this vibrant collage.
