PENCIL SHADING - Still Life 1

Medium :

For this realistic drawing I have used Apsara assorted drawing pencil (Graphite shading pencil). I have chosen HB,4B and 8B Pencils for getting different tonal values,

producing different tonal variation to replicate the photograph as much as possible. This drawing is made on plain A3 white paper.

Complexities :

The tough part of drawing was to produce dark in the middle of the bottle and to create smooth shading on background and bottle was hard.

Learning Outcome :

At the end of the project, I had better understanding of 

1. Different tonal values

2. Texturing the bottle

3. Smoothening the background

Creating the effect of light falling on glass & bottle is the hard part in the drawing from which I learnt a lot.
