Tortuga from Breaking Bad

Tortuga remake
A remake of the iconic Tortuga scene (Danny Trejo). As a Breaking Bad fan, I think this is one of the best parts of the series. The creativity that went in this series inspired me to make this project.

This first composition is more of a title sequence/ intro type of animation. The composition isn't directly from the series, but it captures the essence and the theme — a morbid showcase of a severed head on a tortoise out on the desert in the middle of nowhere, while still having some comedic take.
Second composition is closer on what happened in the show with more of a horror type of feel, with the comedic take just stripped away. More realistic blood and unappealing camera shake to showcase the tense moment that caused a traumatic moment for one of the supporting characters in the series (Hank Schrader).
