In this illustration, I used it as a reference to Brazilian Indians. Many indigenous peoples maintain their cultural riches and traditions through transmission from elders to young people. A counterpoint to the current urban society in which we stop listening to the stories of the elderly to inform ourselves primarily through the web.
1 - Sketch.
In this sketch, I managed to get to the idea I was looking for in the first strokes, starting right away to apply the colours. In my mind, I am going to frame this picture within a circle.
2 - Base colour.
In this step, I applied the frame. I liked the relationship between the white moon's circular shape and the frame's dark blue.
3 - Light and Shadow.
4 - Finishing with light, shadow and effects.
