BNSF Railway
Career "Yearbook" and communication campaign concept  |  Jan 2014
BNSF and it's predecessor companies have been around for over 160 years. A rich heritage has been built into the company over that many years and the train paint schemes are a colorful part of that heritage.

The assortment of colors used on the BNSF Railway makes it one of the most colorful large railroads in North America. Many locomotives are painted in "Heritage" schemes, which are primarily based on Great Northern Railway's colors of Omaha Orange and Pullman Green. Other designs include Santa Fe's silver-and-red "Warbonnet", and a modified version of the "Heritage II" scheme with BNSF's new logo (adopted in 2005) and black rather than dark green. Some older units continue to bear the Grinstein Green and Crème of predecessor Burlington Northern or Santa Fe's blue and yellow. (Wikipedia, BNSF)

To honor employees who have reached a milestone anniversary in their career with BNSF, we proposed a "yearbook" to commemorate the acheivement. The cover features the number of their milestone year as a part of the paint scheme and therefore a part of the company's heritage.
