When the City of Bend was having issues with vehicles sticking out into the travel lane in downtown Bend, I designed some outreach materials to let the community know what was and wasn't allowed. This was a tricky project because of the political landscape of Bend—there was a perception that we were banning big trucks in downtown.

In order to help dispel that rumor, I used three extremely common vehicles in Bend to illustrate the point: a truck, a Subaru with a bike rack, and a Sprinter van with and without a bike rack. All of which can stick out of the parking stall if not parking correctly.
